How to Train For and Run Your First 100 ..

100 milerSeeing I’ve never run or trained yet to run a single stage 100 miler ..I can’t really comment on how to train for one ..but I intend to, in fact I actually intend to run a lot further but re search is one thing I enjoy doing and before I attempt most things to do with training and sport I research how to do them!

There are loads of training routines and methods etc out there but I found this one and read it and liked it as it covers pretty much every thing I think is needed, to run a 100 miles ..other than the screw loose to actually do it …so as long as Mr Blake Norwood doesn’t mind I’ve re-posted his post its based on the Umstead 100 miler  in North Carolina due to take place April 2013 !! ..enjoy !!

Calories
